When we are investing, here’s what we look for:
- We only invest in games and content focused studios (no platforms or tech focused studios)
- We do not act as a lead investor
- We invest a standard amount/percentage
- We focus on supporting founders through community

We encourage studios targeting all platforms, audiences and genres to submit their information. We believe in a diverse portfolio approach and in creating an inclusive supportive community.

Ed Fries and Emily Greer also gave a more recent talk at GDC 2026 “Behind the Scenes of Game Funding” which provides new insights into the current overall funding landscape.
If you’re considering the publishing route, it’s worth looking into indie publishers, who may align well with your game’s vision. Here’s a public list of publishers with detailed info that may help.
You can also look into platform programs. Sony, XBOX, Unreal, and Unity all run prototype-funding or indie-focused initiatives, some of which work more like grants to help studios get started.
